I was starting to think Coldplay had disappeared into the "where Are They At Now" files but On Wednesday, Coldplay premiered a video for ‘Every Teardrop is a Waterfall,’ the first single from their new EP of the same name, as reported by PopCrush. This driving, upbeat song follows the band’s Grammy-winning 2008 album ‘Viva la Vida.’

It’s a shimmery, guitar-based track and the accompanying video is nothing short of visually-arresting. As Chris Martin and the Coldplay lads wander through a decaying urban environment, neon colors follow them wherever the go, bringing life back to the landscape. The video is filmed primarily using the largely-defunct technique of stop motion, and it culminates with the band performing the song under a black light in a room covered with colorful graffiti. Currently, Coldplay is working with producer Brian Eno on their fifth album, which is slated to be released this Fall.Check it out.
