Charlie Sheen Breaks a Record

Charlie Sheen broke the record for the person to reach one million followers on Twitter the quickest. It only took him a little over 25 hours to hit the mark.

The funny thing is that the news about his blogging is probably the only reason his tweets are so popular. Facebook is widely used by nearly half of all Americans. Twitter is used by only seven percent of the total population and nine percent of the Internet-using population. Additionally, only 21 percent of Twitter members are actually active users.

One million followers on Twitter is a lot though but imagine what it would be if Sheen used Facebook instead.
