Bruno Mars, Pink, Adam Levine, Adele, One Direction Get “NewNowNext” Award Nominations
Just when you thought all the awards shows were over for the season, another one comes along. Bruno Mars, Adam Levine, Pink, Adele and One Direction are among the nominees for this year's "NewNowNext" Awards, presented by the gay-themed cable channel Logo. The awards show looks to reward what's hot right now this minute, rather than things that happened over the past year.
Bruno's song "When I Was Your Man" and Pink's duet with fun.'s Nate Ruess "Give Me a Reason" are nominated in the "That's My Jam" category, for currently hot songs. Also nominated in that category: Ke$ha's "C'mon," Tegan and Sara's "Closer" and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' "Can't Hold Us."
Adam Levine is nominated in the category of Hottest Sexiest Ink, for all his tattoos, and for Coolest Cameo, for the role he had in American Horror Story. Adele and Rihanna are also nominated in that category, even though as far as we know, Adele's only tattoo is a script letter "A", possibly representing her baby son's name, behind her ear.
One Direction is nominated for Foreign Import of the Year, along with British actors like Sherlock star Benedict Cumberbatch and Warm Bodies star Nicholas Hoult.
Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj are all nominated in the Best New 'Do category, while Adele pops up again in the category of Beyond Style, for the Burberry ensemble she sported at the MTV Music Awards.
You can vote now at NewNowNext.com, and see who the winners are when the show airs April 15 on Logo.
