Bake Sale for Texarkana Humane Society at Wells Fargo

Bake sale to benefit the Texarkana Humane Society is Friday, September 28 at the corner of Jefferson and Arkansas Blvd in the Wells Fargo parking lot from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Donations of baked items and dog or cat food are welcome!

Texarkana Humane Society is a non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to re-homing orphaned animals, promoting the human-animal bond, preventing animal cruelty, educating children and adults about responsible pet ownership, and preventing pet overpopulation. Their team is made up entirely of volunteers. They advocate for those animals who need help. Even a little help goes a long way.

They do not receive any city or state assistance whatsoever and have had $20,000 in bills in the last 9 months just in vet bills. That does not count feeding and taking care of the 50 animals they currently have that do not have a home.

They need your help!! THEY WILL ALSO ACCEPT ANY UNOPENED DOG FOOD OR CAT FOOD DONATIONS AS THEY ARE IN AN EXTREME SHORTAGE OF FOOD.
