Luke Skywalker’s Rumored Bling in ‘The Last Jedi’ Could Be Very Important
When we last saw Luke Skywalker, he had just flipped the gray hood of his grayer robes off of his head with a flourish to reveal his extremely gray wise man beard and to fix Rey with his piercing gray eyes. Word on the street is he’ll definitely have more lines in The Last Jedi, and probably at least one more outfit. A new rumor also suggests he has some new jewelry that might have something to do with his past and Darth Vader. [Be advised: this gets into some kindaaa spoilery territory, so if you want to go into The Last Jedi blind, run away!]
‘Frozen’ Originally Had a Completely Different Ending, Different Elsa Characterization
It’s no secret that Disney movies, especially their fairytale retellings, go through lots of revisions. It’s not enough for these stories to stick to their Grimm roots anymore — audiences are much more responsive to updated versions with characters who speak to modern sensibilities. Frozen was no different, originally having an ending that was totally different from the one the final cut ended up with.
‘The Dark Tower’ Moved Back Another Week to August
In yet another setback in the series of them that has dogged The Dark Tower since its inception (not unlike the quest of Roland Deschain himself), the movie has been pushed back one whole week from July 28 to August 4.
Zack Snyder Keeps Acting Like Superman Might Not Be in ‘Justice League’
Who are the Justice League? The group is comprised of a bunch of different heroes in different combinations based on which comic arcs you’re reading at the time, but it always seems to have three core members: Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman. Warner Bros. new Justice League movie didn’t feature the red-caped Kryptonian in this weekend’s trailer, and seems to be acting like he won’t be in the movie. Even Zack Snyder has been cagey about it.

Sabretooth Was Almost in ‘Logan’ for a Scene or Two
Some wondered, when it was announced that a third and final Wolverine movie was happening in 2017, if this meant that we’d see another appearance of his frenemy Sabretooth (brought to life onscreen by Liev Schreiber in 2009). Well, he didn’t end up in Logan, ultimately, but there was a plan in the works at one point to have him arrive for a few scenes towards the middle of the movie.
Get Ready for a New ‘Purge’ Movie Coming Summer 2018
Even though the story was more or less wrapped up at the end of The Purge: Election Year, we should probably get used to these movies, much like the Purge itself, happening about once a year. James DeMonaco, creator of the franchise and director of all three, will be back writing the screenplay and working closely with Universal to find a director for the fourth.
Vince Vaughn Joins Dwayne Johnson’s Wrestling Movie ‘Fighting With My Family’
Fighting With My Family, the movie starring Dwayne Johnson, written and directed by British comedian Stephen Merchant, and based on a documentary about a family of WWE wrestlers, is maybe the strangest movie in the works right now, besides whatever fresh hell Adam Sandler is cooking up for Netflix. Today, Johnson announced that none other than Vince Vaughn would be joining the cast of his new movie.
The ‘Black Panther’ Movie Has Some Seriously Gorgeous Concept Art
For all the scope of the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far, we’ve only gotten one fleeting look at the fictional African nation of Wakanda: that one shot at the end of Captain America: Civil War. That place has been pretty shrouded in mystery ever since, but now that we’re getting a Black Panther movie, we’re also getting a deeper look inside the country’s borders. The most recent information comes courtesy of the Doctor Strange digital HD release, which has, among other things, some really beautiful Black Panther concept art.
