This is Administrative Professionals Week! And tomorrow is the day that every administrative professional should be recognized for all of their time and hard work.

Here are some ways to make your administrative professionals happy in honor of their special day:

• Give them a day off with pay
• Take them out to lunch
• Gift card to eat at local restaurant
• Bonus pay

If nothing else, be sure to say "thank you."

Administrative Professionals day was originally called "National Secretaries Week." Even the group that started the day back in 1952, National Secretaries Association, has since changed the name of the organization to International Association of Administrative Professionals.

There are more than 4.1 million secretaries and administrative assistants working in the U.S., according to U.S. Department of Labor statistics, and 8.9 million people working in various administrative support roles. There is bound to be someone at your workplace that thinks of themselves as an administrative professional so don't let this day slip by without some sort of recognition.
