After being on the run for one week, Sheree Nicole Wright turned herself in to the Bowie County Sheriff’s Office today on an outstanding warrant for "Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility." In his case, that translates into stashing drugs and tobacco inside frozen drinks and sneaking them into jail.

The warrant was issued in connection to a milkshake that Wright delivered to former Correctional Officer Billy Whitley who last week was arrested for the same charge.

After being arrested, Wright informed Investigator Robby McCarver that this was not the first time she had delivered contraband to the Bowie County Correctional Center using this same method. Twice in the early part of April of 2015, Wright said she took tobacco and marijuana concealed in a milkshake and delivered it to Correctional Officer Keyandre Thirdgill, 23, of Texarkana, Texas. The Sheriff's Office said the contraband was to be delivered to inmate Calvin Davis Jr.

Information was found during the course of this investigation that corroborated Wright’s claims. Investigator McCarver then requested that Officer Thirdgill come to the Sheriff’s Office for an interview. During the course of this interview, Officer Thirdgill reportedly admitted he had twice received contraband in a frozen drink while working at the Bowie County Correctional Center.

Once was in a milkshake. The other time it came in a frozen coffee.

According to the sheriff's office, officer Thirdgill said he was to be paid $50 for each drop but claims he did not receive payment either time. Officer Thirdgill was arrested for "Prohibited Substance in a Correctional Facility" and booked into the Bi-State Jail. Judge Gibson Hadaway set his bond at $30,000.

Thirdgill had been employed at the Bowie County Correctional Center for about a month.
