A Nashville, Tennessee, judge on Friday placed suspended 3 Doors Down bassist Robert Todd Harrell under house arrest, pending his trial in a vehicular homicide case.

Harrell was permitted to avoid jail and live under house arrest if he moved from Mississippi to Davidson County, Tennessee, according to The Tennessean.

Harrell is accused of driving impaired in an accident in the Nashville area that resulted in the death of another driver in April 2013. He has pleaded not guilty.

Harrell was arrested on a DUI charge last month, after which 3 Doors Down announced he was suspended from the band indefinitely. It was Harrell's third DUI-related arrest in two years.
