Turkey Trot — 5k Run on Thanksgiving Morning

Don't miss the Thanksgiving Day 5K Turkey Trot in Texarkana! Get up early and go for a run for a great cause then you will have no guilt when you pile the turkey into your tummy for dinner.  

This is the fourth year for this great family-friendly event in Texarkana. In addition to the 5k run there are other events. A 1-mile walk, turkey costume contest, turkey call contest, mascot wobble, kids bounce arena, kids 25 yard and 50-yard dash. The time of Race is 8:00 AM with registration at 7 am. The entry fees are as follows: 5k, 1 mile run and turkey in the straw $25, $10 per stroller an $10 per pet.

The Turkey Trot will be at Spring Lake Park at the walking trail. Get your entries in early, the entry fee goes up to $35 after November 12.
