‘Tuesday Morning’ to Close Stores – Texarkana Safe For Now
Another retail store has been having a difficult time during the coronavirus epidemic. Tuesday Morning announces yesterday that they have filed Chapter 11 and will be closing 132 stores this summer and about another 100 stores at a later date out of a total of almost 700 stores nationwide.
According to a press release from the company, the stores that will start closing as soon as June 1 is due to low performance or stores that are too close to another location. Luckily Texarkana's location is safe on the first phase of closures. Let's just pray they are safe on the next round.
The company took a heavy hit considering it doesn't do business by the internet and had to completely shut down all stores during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Stores on the list of closures close to us are 5 in the Dallas and surrounding areas, Lufkin Texas and another store in Little Rock, Ar.
