Texas Longhorn Network Launches in September 2011

The Dallas Morning News reports that a 20-year deal has been reached, valued at approximately 300 million dollars, to give the University of Texas their own network this year.  Longhorns 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  It promises to be done Texas Style BIG!  The network will mainly cover Longhorn sports but will also have some academic and cultural programming. The expected launch date is September 1st.
