Your Texas Game Warden Internship Application Time Is Almost Up
Time is running out for you to apply to be in the summer intern program from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. Have you ever thought about becoming a Game Warden? Texas just might have the perfect Internship program for you, and positions are available all over the state.
Texas Game Wardens are currently accepting applications for summer internships. This program is for college students of all backgrounds and fields of study to apply for these available openings.
You don't have to go through an internship to become an official Texas Game Warden, it can be a very helpful first step though.

Are You Eligible?
All Student Internships have the same minimum qualifications:
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student in an accredited college or university or recent graduate within the last 6 months
- Minimum of 18 (60 for Game Wardens) completed semester credit hours from an accredited college or university at time of application
- Must have an overall grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 grade point scale or “pass” on a pass/fail system
- Must possess a valid state driver's license, when applicable
