Texarkana Wine Festival is Saturday, May 6

We had a chance to talk to the folks putting on the wine festival this weekend. You can watch the interview below. The event starts at 10AM on Satuday, May 6.

Terrie Arnold, Executive Director of the Alzheimer's Alliance and Cathy Van Herpen, Chairman of the Wine Festival stopped by the studio during the Power Morning Show to talk about the third annual Twice as Fine Texarkana Wine Festival. This event is a fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Alliance and is for people that love wine, food, live entertainment and shopping. This unique festival gives wine lovers the chance to spend the day enjoying wine from many of Texas's best wineries, as well as food, art and other specialty vendors.

"The Twice as Fine Texarkana Wine Festival has helped the Alzheimer’s Alliance expand our services significantly," said Terrie Arnold, Executive Director of the Alzheimer's Alliance. "The success of last year’s festival enabled the Alzheimer’s Alliance to add a third day of respite care to Our Place Day Respite Center."
