The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana will hold the 29th Annual UAHT Community Fish and Chicken Fry on Thursday, April 21, from 4:30-7:00 p.m. on the Hempstead Hall lawn at the Hope campus.

The cost will be $15.00 per plate, and all proceeds will benefit the UAHT Foundation. There will be a drive-through “to go” line for carry-out meals located by the Rapert Library entrance, accessed through the main campus entrance by the electronic sign.

Carry-out trays will not include a drink. Tickets are available at the front desk on the Hope campus or can be purchased the day of the event.

As always, the fish and the chicken fry will feature delicious fried catfish and Tyson chicken cooked by the Hope Lions Club. Live local entertainment and activities for kids will also add to the community’s enjoyment.

“The generous support shown by our community at the yearly fish and chicken fry provides funding and scholarships for students who may not otherwise be able to afford a college education,” said Anna Powell, Executive Director of Institutional Advancement.

“Please join us again this year to enjoy food, fun, and fellowship as we support creating a better future for our students and community.”
