Taylor Swift to Guest-Star on New Girl Finale

When she's not ruling the charts or touring the globe, Taylor Swift has done some acting, and now she's ready for more. Sources report that she'll guest-star on the season two finale of the Fox sitcom, New Girl.

In the May 14 episode, Taylor will play a character named Elaine, who's an "important guest" at Cece and Shivrang's wedding.  Perhaps her appearance isn't that surprising, given that the show has mentioned her several times.  For example, in one episode, Taylor's song "22" was heard while a heartbroken Jess, played by Zooey Deschanel, whined, "I just want to listen to Taylor Swift alone!"

In the past, Taylor guest-starred on an episode of CSI, appeared in the movie Valentine's Day, provided the voice for the female lead in the animated film The Lorax and hosted Saturday Night Live.
