Taylor Swift Reveals Love Life Details.

Taylor Swift doesn't talk specifically about her love life to the press, but that doesn't mean she won't authorize someone else to spill the beans. Taylor appears on the cover of Vanity Fair's April issue and reveals in the cover story she's only dated two people since 2010, meaning Conor Kennedy and One Direction's Harry Styles. Taylor then allowed a source close to her to fill in the details of what went down in those relationships.

As for Harry Styles, the source says he chased Taylor for the better part of a year before ultimately giving her the cold shoulder. At first, Harry was the pursuer. The source says, "He was all, like, ‘You’re amazing, I want to be with you. I want to do this.’”

That all fell apart when Harry texted Taylor to tell her a picture of him kissing another girl was going public. According to Taylor's source,  "They were making out like with their hands all up in each other’s hair."

Taylor ended the relationship after the picture fiasco, but they got back together about a year later. Even so, she still couldn't shake the idea Harry was looking at other girls, and one night he disappeared during their time together in London. After that, it seemed Harry had lost interest.

Harry's rep from Columbia Records, Benny Tarantini, calls those claims from Taylor's camp "undeniably false."

As for Conor Kennedy, he was only 17 years old when Taylor dated him for about two months, and Taylor reportedly still thinks he is "awesome." The source says dating younger guys like Conor and Harry was a reaction to Taylor's failed relationships with older guys in their 30s, namely John Mayer and Jake Gyllenhaal. She apparently learned that relationships hurt when they come to an end no matter what the age of your love interest.

Also, Taylor has now sold that house she bought near the Kennedy compound while dating Conor. The source says, "It was like a house flip. A good short-term investment."

Taylor steps out from behind the source to take on Golden Globe hosts Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, who mocked her love life at the show earlier this year. Addressing the topic of mean girls, Taylor quotes Katie Couric saying, "She said to me she had heard a quote that she loves that said, 'There's a special place in hell for women who don't help other women.'"

Taylor goes on to say it's "frankly a little sexist" for the media to portray her as a "clingy, insane, desperate girlfriend" for writing about her feelings in a confessional way. She says that honest portrayal of her emotions in song should "potentially be celebrated."

Asked for her reaction to Taylor's comments in the Vanity Fair article, Amy Poehler said, "Aw, I feel bad if she was upset.  I am a feminist, and she is a young and talented girl."  She then added, "That being said, I do agree I am going to hell.  But for other reasons. Mostly boring tax stuff."

For her part, Fey was referring to Taylor's disapproval, "I did not see that one coming. It was a joke, it was a lighthearted joke."
