Adopt a cat from the shelter today. We usually feature dogs on our pet of the week so this week we decided to show some love to the felines at the animal shelter.

She is less than 2 years old. Her Animal ID is 75328 and Form No. 224091. She was adopted by a family in November but she got jealous of their little dogs and had to be returned to the shelter.

His name is Mighty. He was picked up as a stray and now waits for the right adopter to give him a new home. He is playful, quiet and beautiful.

These sweet babies are estimated to be 7 weeks old. They came to the shelter with their mother who was in poor health. Each of the pups in this litter deserves a chance at a happy and healthy live with a love family.

Thunder is our featured pet of the week from the animal shelter in Texarkana this week. He is a super fun, young dog. He looks to be mixed possibly with Flat-Coated Collie and Great Pyrenees. He is very playful and loves to roll around with his person while gently nibbling and licking.

Our featured pet of the week from the animal shelter in Texarkana this week is a young hound dog. He was very shy at first but once he knew he could trust us, he let loose and had a good time.

UPDATE: The pet of the week from November 15 caught the eye of a local family and they adopted her from the shelter last week. They spent the day with her and fell in love only to realize she is not good in a multi-dog home. Sadly the new family had to return her to the shelter because she would fight with the other, smaller dogs when they tried to get close to the owners.
