Four States Fair and Rodeo

The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department has released crucial information regarding traffic, safety, and security arrangements for the upcoming 2024 Fair in collaboration with Fairgrounds security.

It's Four States Fair and Rodeo time once again in Texarkana! This will mark the 78th year when the Fair opens today (March 31) and runs until April 9, 2023.

The Four State Fair and Rodeo kicks off this Friday! Of course, it's fun but there are some rules and regulations that everyone should know about before you go to make sure we all have a safe and fun time.

If you haven't tasted the food at the Four States Fair yet, what are you waiting on?

It is a bacon wrapped fair this year with plenty of new foods to try. Bacon dogs, giant stuffed peppers, fresh cut fries with bacon, sour cream and cheese, maple bacon wrapped corn dogs, chocolate dipped corn dogs and eggs that are chicken, cheese, jalapeno and wrapped in bacon. Many of your favorites are back too.

The rodeo is here! Wednesday night was the first night and it was fantastic. Plenty of action to keep you in your seats.

The rodeo kicked off in Texarkana on Wednesday night. The cowboys rode broncs and bulls, roped calves and more but the clown act was also a great show.

The fair is in town and that means fair food is what's for dinner. If you haven't been out to the fair yet, you are missing out on some fabulous treats. There is even something for the folks who want to keep it healthy. From sandwich wraps to salads, sushi, California rolls, BBQ, fish, pizza, funnel cakes, anything you can think to fry and many yummy desserts.

The Starz Youth Talent Show preliminary was held on Monday night at the Four States Fair and Rodeo. Twelve finalists, listed below, were selected. These finalists will perform again on Thursday for a chance to win studio recording time and a demo CD.
