The Whatever Floats Your Boat Community Health Day event, aka "Duct tape boat race and 5k Cold Turkey Trot" has been rescheduled to March 2016.

Duct tape boat races and 5k Cold Turkey Trot events scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7 at Bobby Ferguson Park from 8a-5p. Both of these events coordinate with two special days this month, recycle day and the smoke out day.

The 2015 Susan G. Komen Texarkana Race For The Cure events are this weekend. Party in the Pink dinner is Friday, October 16, and the Race for the Cure is Saturday, October 17.

This event will be the third annual suicide prevention walk held in Texarkana in honor of Matthew Gaines as well as many others. There is no fee to participate. The purpose of the walk is to raise awareness and to help prevent suicide in the Texarkana area.

Calling all interested people both young and old. You are needed as a volunteer for the "Color Your Park" event at Bobby Ferguson Park in Texarkana, Ark.

The 2014 Komen Texarkana Race For The Cure events are this weekend. Party in the Pink dinner is Friday, Oct. 17 and the Race is Saturday, Oct. 18. Special guest is Molly Quinn, a star from Texarkana that plays Alexis Castle on the ABC show “Castle”.

The 2nd Annual Matthew Gaines Suicide Awareness will be in Texarkana Ssturday at the Bobby Ferguson park. Registration for the walk will be at 9am with the walk beginning at 10am.

There will be a clean-up day at the Bobby Ferguson Park on Saturday October 13 from 12 noon until 3 p.m.
