‘Footloose’ Trailer: Kenny Wormald Steps Into Kevin Bacon’s Dancing Shoes [VIDEO]

The trailer for the highly anticipated Footloose remakeFinally hit the internet this week, offering fans a first look at this modern day take on a Kevin Bacon classic.

The premise for 2011′s ‘Footloose’ is relatively similar to the original:

city boy Ren MacCormack moves to small-town Bomont, where a car crash that killed five teens has led local politicians to ban minors from dancing. But with the help of his girlfriend, Ariel (played by ‘Dancing with the Stars’ beauty (julianne hough), Ren sets out to oppose the dancing ban and bring moves back to Bomont once and for all.

‘Footloose,’ costarring Dennis Quaid and Andie MacDowell, hits theaters Oct. 14. Check out the trailer below.
