Spend The Night in Historic WWII Submarine on the Arkansas River

How would you like to stay overnight in a real-life submarine in Arkansas? The historic USS Razorback in North Little Rock is now offering submarine sleepovers.

The Submarine Sleepovers are just $40 per person or $400 minimum regardless of any group size up to 35 people.

Let's just say, if it's just you and four friends that's still $400. Your overnight stay includes a turn-down service in the bunk bed sleeping quarters with access to movies and board games, a continental breakfast, and a personal tour of the sub.

You can order some food from the downtown Riverfront Entertainment District if you choose to dine in or walk to a nearby restaurant. Wait a minute, shouldn't they be eating a sub sandwich?

You can also watch a movie while you are onboard too! How cool would it be to watch that old movie, "Crimson Tide" on here?

Overnight stays are filling up fast, reservations are required at least two weeks or more in advance to ensure you can book a stay. Birthday parties can be booked for an additional fee of $10 per person.

The USS Razorback opened in 2005 and is one of only two floating Naval vessels including the tugboat Hoga, a designated National Historic Landmark. Before making the Arkansas River its final resting place the USS Razorback Submarine was anchored in Tokyo Bay, during Japan's surrender ending World War II.

Visitors who board the historic fully restored USS Razorback (SS-394)  will enter the vessel using a 14-foot ladder to climb into the space.

While you are there make sure you take the time to visit the museum full of artifacts, exhibits, and displays from other Naval vessels including the missile cruiser USS Arkansas and the battleship USS Arkansas. There are also two memorials located nearby, the North Shore Riverwalk and the Peace Garden.
