Soldiers returning from combat were charged as much as $200 each for their luggage by Delta Airlines. The government orders deploying the soldiers allowed them to take four bags but apparently Delta did not care.

One of the bags contained weapons necessary to provide protection during deployment. The soldiers recorded the incident and posted it on YouTube. Now Delta is changing their policy to allow soldiers traveling on orders four checked bags in coach and five in first and business class without an extra fee. So far no word on whether or not Delta planned to refund the baggage fees to these soldiers--fees that had to be paid out of the soldiers' pockets.
