Sign up Now to Participate in the 2021 Texarkana Christmas Parade
Ho Ho Ho! The 37th Annual Main Street Texarkana Christmas Parade is finally back this year on Monday, December 6, in historic downtown Texarkana at 7 PM.
The magic of the holiday season comes alive when over 100 lighted entries are expected to wind down the heart of downtown Texarkana. Parade fans will line the streets to see an array of school marching bands, lighted floats, and even 3 camels leading the parade.
Street vendors will be selling a variety of unique merchandise like balloons, glow sticks, bracelets, and necklaces.
Of course, the main event is Santa Claus himself and his reindeer. Which one is Santa?
This Year's Theme "12 Days of Christmas"
If your business or organization would like to participate in the parade there is a $25 application fee. Your tax-deductible donation is greatly appreciated to offset parade expenses and further support the revitalization of the downtown area. You can download a form here. Wednesday, November 24, is the deadline to enter and all entries MUST be lighted in order to participate.
Who is that sneaking up behind me?
Last year the parade was canceled due to COVID-19, so I am certain there will be an overflow crowd this year with more floats and entries.
