Shooting In Texarkana Leaves Man Hospitalized
A man was taken to a local hospital today, Monday July 13, after a shooting in the 3500 block of Garland Street.
Sgt. Kristi Bennett, Texarkana Arkansas Police spokeswoman told Texarkana Gazette the victim was taken to CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital after being shot during an altercation at that Garland Street location at 5 p.m.
It is reported that the investigation revealed that an altercation occurred in the street when the suspect, Chris Tyler, 26, allegedly shot the victim, McEntry Neal Jr, 20, several times before fleeing the scene.
The shooting remains under investigation. Neal is currently being treated at Saint Michael's hospital.
