There is a chance we could see some severe weather in Texarkana late Friday night into Saturday.

According to KTBS in Shreveport, We are under a high risk for severe weather late Friday night. We have a possibility for up to 2 inches of rain, large hail, high winds, possible flash flooding, and possible tornados.

The storm that started in the Pacific Ocean on Monday should make its way to our area late Friday. The type of storm is a little odd for us this time of the year. Tornados and hail are usually reserved for the Spring and Summer but we have had some pretty unusual temperatures this Winter.

With the threat of severe weather, you need to make sure you are prepared for possible loss of electricity and be safe,  turn around don't drown if you see flooded underpasses and low lying areas.

Make sure you have the Power 95-9 App installed to get up to the minute alerts on any possible bad weather.
