Resource Fair for Special Needs Families

Families and caregivers that have a special needs child they are responsible for will benefit from this special event on Saturday, July 29 in Texarkana.

The event is titled "Bridge to the Future – Region 8 Symposium" and is designed to
bring together resources for families facing challenges of being a special needs parent. Several speakers will discuss important topics and there will be a variety of local resources available during the fair. Topics what will be covered include: Transitions, Youth Advocacy, MCD waiver programs, Sensory Processing Disorder, and other Special Needs topics for the families.

The event is from 9AM to 3PM at Heritage Church, 5801 N Kings Hwy, Texarkana, Texas. This is a free event, however, registration is required. A free lunch will be provided and door prizes will be given away. Speakers and area resources will be presented for families. This event is put on by the Partners Resource Network.
