Nearby Casinos, Attractions and, Upcoming Events Canceled

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak across the country more nearby attractions have decided to close for precautionary measures and health concerns for their employees and the general public.

Here is a list of nearby attractions that will be closed effective today for the next two weeks.

Crawfest 2020 in Shreveport has been postponed and a later date will be announced soon.

Hot Springs Arkansas

In Hot Springs, Arkansas Oaklawn Park races will continue but without spectators and the casino has now decided to close until March 30. The World's Shortest St. Patrick's Day parade and Foghat concert scheduled for tomorrow in downtown Hot Springs have been canceled.

Jonquil Festival: Canceled

The Annual Jonquil Festival slated for this weekend in Historic Washington State Park, Arkansas is canceled.

Still Open:

Garvan Woodland Gardens in Hot Springs still remains open, so if you are looking for something to do outdoors, you're encouraged to enjoy the upcoming Tulip Extravanganza beginning toward the end of the month and into early April.
