Good news! And we all need some during these crazy times. Michaels in Texarkana has the green light to open for curbside pickup and it starts today (Friday, April 17).

We got the official word this morning from Michaels General Manager Howard Burton:

We will resume curbside orders and pickup today.

Bowie county officials deemed the store a 'non-essential' business on April 6 and ordered them to close. People were not happy. Can you blame them?

We had heard earlier this week there is a chance for them to reopen and give curbside pick up service only and now it has happened.

It's easy too! Order online and the just wait for the email to let you know when your order is ready to pick up. I actually did that right before they were ordered to close and it was super easy.

A craft store is a necessity! Parents and crafters need these supplies especially for kids' projects to keep them busy and us too!

Yay to curbside service! Let the crafts begin!
