The universal hand symbol for Lady Gaga fans is a claw-like "Monster Paw" and now some lucky fan is about to purchase one of Mother Monster's very own claws, thanks to an online auction.

The website Artfact is currently selling an acrylic fingernail worn on stage by Gaga last September when she performed at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.  The black acrylic nail features an intricate gold bead pattern, and if you buy it, you'll get a photo of the singer on stage which clearly shows her missing the nail from the pinky of her left hand.

Also included in the lot is a crew wristband from the performance, a staff handbook from the stadium, and a Born This Way Ball local crew t-shirt, as well as a letter from the crew member who found the nail on the stage after the show.  The auction ends later today, Thursday, and when we last checked, bidding had reached nearly 13,000 dollars.

In other Gaga news, sightings of the star have been few and far between since she underwent surgery to repair a tear in her hip, but she's just resurfaced in a new photo on her social networking website, LittleMonsters.com.  In the photo, Gaga is shown posing with famed hat designer Philip Treacy and Grace Jones, an '80s fashion icon, model, actress and singer who's famous for her gender-bending appearance, outrageous costumes and sexual persona.

It goes without saying that Jones was a big influence on Gaga, but in 2010, Jones said that she turned down an offer to work with the younger star, explaining, "I’d just prefer to work with someone who is more original and someone who is not copying me, actually.”  Guess the two have buried the hatchet since then.
