It's been 10 days since Kevin Hart was involved in a serious car crash and sustained injuries that required back surgery to repair; however, TMZ is reporting that the comedian has been discharged from the hospital. Sources close to Hart say he's "glad" to be out of the hospital and has said he's "grateful to be alive" following the scary accident.

Though he's no longer sleeping in a hospital bed, the 40-year-old isn't going home quite yet. He'll be staying at a live-in rehab facility, undergoing intense physical therapy with the goal to get him home "as soon as possible." Sources say he should be able to leave the rehab facility in a week or so.

Hart suffered three spinal fractures after 1970 Plymouth Barracuda ran off Mulholland Highway, drove through some fencing, rolled over and was found in a ditch in Malibu on September 1. The actor was a passenger, along with his wife Eniko's personal trainer Rebecca Broxterman. Her fiancée Jared S. Black was driving the vehicle. Though Broxterman only sustained minor injuries, Black and Hart were both rushed to the hospital for medical attention.
