Jordin Sparks and Boyfriend “Not Scared” to Discuss Marriage

It often takes personal tragedy to make us realize just how much we appreciate our loved ones.  Now that Jordin Sparks and her boyfriend Jason Derulo have both dealt with personal tragedies, they're talking marriage.

Jordin, who's 22, Said that after Jason, who's 23, fractured his neck earlier this year, and then she lost Sparkle co-star Whitney Houston in February, it made them both re-think their priorities.

"You really see the people you love and you go, 'I don't want to lose you,'" she explained.  As a result, she says,  marriage is "not a conversation that we're scared about."

However, the two singers aren't booking a hall just yet.  "We're not in a rush," says Jordin.  Still, she admits that she'll be happy to say yes if and when Jason proposes. "I hope he does!" she gushed. "It's not happening yet, but I hope so!"
