Jobs in Texarkana I Would Hate to Have

As I was driving through Texarkana recently I saw several people doing jobs that I would really hate to have.

Now, I am not looking for a new career but I always have my eye out for a part time job that might be fun. But the jobs listed below would not be on my list of places to apply to not because they are bad jobs, but just because they just wouldn't be a good fit for me.

Sign Repair/Ladder Climber

I would pass out before I climbed halfway -- make that a third of the way -- up that ladder. My fear of heights is a deal breaker for any job. End of story.

Mail Carrier

Delivering mail would suck for me for a couple of reasons: Having to get in and out constantly would wear me out. Plus, delivering mail to residential areas would be scary for me because of the dog-attack factor. I love dogs but for some reason when they see a mail carrier you just never know if they will be friend or foe.

Balloon Filler

Filling balloons seems like it would be fun until you consider the noise, and that would drive me nuts. I was recently at a store and jumped and screamed every time they filled a balloon while I was standing close to the counter. Super friendly ladies at the store, but I would be fired the first day for jumping and screaming when a balloon was filled.

Potato Chip Delivery Driver

Delivering chips and snacks would be horrible for me especially since this brand is my favorite plain chip of all time. I would gain way too much weight. And let's face it, I'd be fired for eating all the product.
