The classic TV show "It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" will air for free in Texarkana this year.

This holiday special is one of my all-time favorites and it was pulled off of the regular TV last year and was only available on Apple Tv. ABC was the place to find the program for years and after the show was pulled many people like me were wondering why they removed the show from local free TV.

Well fear not you will be able to watch this classic show for free this year on your local PBS station. In Texarkana, if you are on Sparklight it will be on channel 9. If you stream your TV, then you just need to look for the PBS or PBS kids channel to find the show.

"It's The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown" is scheduled to air on PBS and PBS kids on October 24th at 6:30.  This is my favorite scene from the show as Charlie Brown makes an attempt to kick the football as Lucy pulls it away at the last minute.

Arkansas PBS will have a similar arrangement with the other Charlie Brown specials. "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" will air on Sunday, November 21 at 6:30 p.m., and "A Charlie Brown Christmas" will air on Sunday, December 19 at 6:30 p.m.

There is one thing that I found quite interesting. You cannot stream this special anywhere. It is not available on Amazon, or Netflix, or even Hulu. It is available to purchase. It is part of the Peanuts Holiday Collection.

LOOK: Here Are 30 Foods That Are Poisonous to Dogs

To prepare yourself for a potential incident, always keep your vet's phone number handy, along with an after-hours clinic you can call in an emergency. The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center also has a hotline you can call at (888) 426-4435 for advice.

Even with all of these resources, however, the best cure for food poisoning is preventing it in the first place. To give you an idea of what human foods can be dangerous, Stacker has put together a slideshow of 30 common foods to avoid. Take a look to see if there are any that surprise you.
