Hoop Shoot Free Throw Contest Saturday

The Texarkana Parks and Recreation Department in conjunction with the Texarkana, AR, Elks Lodge 399 for the Elks "Hoop Shoot", a national free throw contest.

This event is free and open to boys and girls from the ages of  8 through 123. The Hoop Shoot will be held at the Southwest Center, 3222 W. 7th Street, on Saturday, December 15th at 8:00 AM.

You can get registered today by completing a form at the Southwest Center before the day of the event. Or you can get signed up at the event tomorrow.

There will be different age grou[ps and winners of each group will receive a prize and will be eligible to participate at the State level!
