What is the 'Elf On The Shelf' and the big question is how can you keep it fresh for your kids?
If you are not a parent here are all the details n the little things know as the 'Elf On The Shelf'. It's all about an elf that watches your kids make sure they are being good, and it flies back to Santa every night to report to him.

You can't touch them or they will lose their magic. The kids even get to name their elf. I have a 12-year-old, and an 8-year-old and yes, the elves are on our shelves. Granted, my son's elf is named "Elfie." Don't laugh, he got to pick the name. My daughter, Addy's, elf is "Snowflake." Now that they are older he knows that the elves aren't real, but he doesn't tell my daughter to help keep up the illusion.

Half of the fun is to find new ways for the elves to get into mischief and the stories that you can tell your children. It is best in that it is something you can use to keep the kids in line and tell them that their elf is making sure they are being good. And I notice with the pandemic there are some elves that are getting put into quarantine.

The biggest issue my wife and I have is finding new ways to put them into mischief. Here is a quick video that might help.
