Did you know there are things you can do with Google to make your searching skills awesome? Here are seven for you to try.

Use quotation marks.  "tell me what you want, what you really really want" this is helpful in finding specific phrases or song lyrics like the song from the Spice Girls Wannabe.

LInk Query. Use this to find sites that link to the specific site. link:cracked.com

Two periods. This helps when you are looking for things in a specified range. LIke date ranges or cars 20,000..30,000 in that price range.

Dashes. Use a dash before a word to exclude it from your search. For example a search for a specific animal like a cheetah-animal.

Related. In a search for a specific website, you can include related to finding sites that are similar. Like this related:amazon.com.

A tilde. Use a tilde to help in finding related results and their synonyms. Easter~candy.

Site Query. You can find certain things on a site by using site:boredpanda.com

Now with these new skills, you can search for the history of Texarkana's name faster but more efficiently.
