Get ready for GloWILD back by popular demand at the Little Rock Zoo beginning Nov. 3, and running until Jan. 3, 2023.
GloWILD Twice as Bright
GloWILD is a fun outdoor exhibit that features dozens of handcrafted silk-covered lanterns of larger-than-life wildlife, flowers, arctic winter scenes, and this year Dinosaurs in one of the nation's largest interactive light festivals. Children and adults will be amazed at the animatronic dinosaurs, dinosaur exhibits, fossil replicas, and more.
LED Lights
As for the lanterns, modern technology has advanced to now bring the use of electricity to illuminate the skillfully-made lanterns. There are several shapes and sizes that will represent the Chinese culture from animals, sea creatures, and more.
The Lantern Festival symbolizes the final day of traditional Chinese New Year celebrations. This festival has become one of the most popular lantern festivals and light show events in China and now it's coming back to Arkansas.
The Little Rock Zoo is proud to partner with Tianyu Arts & Culture, Inc. which brings this family-friendly lantern festival fundraiser to life. Don't miss GloWild!
Make sure you stop by the S'mores station for hot chocolate, apple cider, and other beverages. Ride the Arkansas Diamond Express train or carousel. Visit the World Market and gift shop at the zoo for some unique gifts or grab something to eat at Cafe Africa.
