The Free 'Movies in the Park' will be returning to Spring Lake Park in Texarkana, next month.

The City of Texarkana, Texas Parks, and Recreation Department will host the movies for three consecutive Thursdays in October.

The "Free Movies in the Park"  are shown in the field across from the old airplane in Spring Lake Park and begin between 7 and 8. The movies are free of charge and the Texarkana Parks Department wants to promote a very family-friendly atmosphere so no alcohol or smoking is allowed.

Make sure to bring blankets and chairs for you to sit on and you are allowed to bring food and drinks as well. Get there early to get a good seat.  Concessions will be available.
