Evergreen Life Services needs your help for East Texas Giving day.

Imagine if no one could explain to you why you suddenly can’t see your family. Why you can’t go see your friends at the day program. Why you aren’t allowed to leave your house. Why your Direct Support Professionals are now wearing masks and gloves and cleaning obsessively.

This is the new reality for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities served by Evergreen in East Texas. COVID-19 is impacting the people we serve in a heartbreaking way. Many of these individuals truly live for their social connections and routines.

They understand that these are difficult times for everyone. The truth is that they need your support now more than ever. Your support will assist Evergreen in dealing with the financial impact they are facing as they cancel fundraising events and increase their expenses for staff overtime, essential supplies, and protective equipment.
