Do you have an Elf on the Shelf? If you do you know what I mean when I say they are a little bit of a pain in the butt .But first here is a little bit about them for those who do not know.
It's all about an elf that watches your kids to make sure they are being good, and it flies back to Santa every night to report in to him.

You can't touch them or they will lose their magic. The kids even get to name their elf. I have an 8-year-old, and 4-year-old and yes, the elves are on our shelves. Granted, my son's elf is named "Elfie." Don't laugh, he got to pick the name. My daughter, Addy's, elf is "Snowflake."

Half of the fun is to find new ways for the elves to get into mischief, and the stories that you can tell your children. It is best in that it is something you can use to keep the kids in line and tell them that their elf is making sure they are being good. I had no idea about this until a few of years ago.

The biggest issue I have is finding new ways to put them into mischief. Here is a quick video that might help.
