Did you know that Texarkana had a glass factory?

I found this old video while searching for more information on the history of Texarkana and how it used to be back in the day.

In the video, it is actually a series of pictures with some narration from some people that remembered the factory. From what I can find the "Texarkana Glass Company" was around between the 1910's and early 1920's and was located on the south part of town on the KCS Railroad.

Here is the information from the Texarkana Museum Systems on the video.

Images of the Texas Glass Company, more commonly known as the Texarkana Glass Factory. The images are part of a larger series documenting the glass making process. The audio files are interview excerpts recorded in 1973 with Texarkana pioneers W. McCartney, Jr. and Mrs. Mildred Edwards.
