Christmas Movies & Ice Skating at 'Christmas on Main' Texarkana

Get ready for a fun Christmas event this Saturday in downtown Texarkana that will include favorite Christmas movies plus ice skating, Santa and more.

Presented by the Texarkana Symphony Orchestra, City of Texarkana, TX and Perot Theatre the fun will start at 9 AM Saturday, December 18.

Three classic movies for kids of all ages will be shown throughout the day and will be shown inside the historic Perot Theatre:

Polar Express

Showtime is 10AM

The Nightmare Before Christmas

Showtime is at 2PM

It's a Wonderful Life

Showtime is at 7PM

There will be Ice Skating And Carriage Rides

There will also be an Ice Skating Rink! Yes, a real Ice-Skating Rink outside. Admission is just $5 per ticket. There will also be free horse-drawn carriage rides throughout the day.

Tickets to the Movies during the day are $6 each with the evening showing of It's a Wonderful Life being $8. An All-Day Movie Pass is just $13 and a special limited $21 ticket for the Polar Express Golden Ticket which includes the movie plus a visit with Santa Claus, snacks on the mezzanine, a magical sleigh bell, and a ticket for ice-skating.

Christmas on Main is sponsored by the Patterson Troike Foundation, Farmers Bank and Trust, Kinetic by Windstream, Courtyard by Marriott, and the Texarkana Arts and Historic District.

The historic Perot Theatre is located at 221 Main Street in downtown Texarkana, Texas.
