Celebrate National Pet Day by Showing Us Your Pets Texarkana

I am a huge animal lover. I have dogs, cats and a horse. Some might consider that I am a little over the top with my love for my animals but hey, that is just who I am. When I go home I love to chill with my dogs. My phone is filled with dog pics.

There is an entire website set up just for National Pet Day. It shows that the day was first celebrated in 2005. If you have noticed, companies are using animals in advertising a lot of their television spots. It gets my attention. I asked Google "how many people own animals" and the answer is "estimated that 70-80 million dogs and 74-96 million cats are owned in the United States. Approximately 37-47% of all households in the United States have a dog, and 30-37% have a cat," according to ASPCA.
