Calling All Warriors & Madiens! Don't Miss This Fun Arkansas Fest

If you love Renaissance Faires then get ready because there is a new fair in town that you won't want to miss. It's the Viking Festival.

It'll be everything Viking with warriors and maidens this weekend in Hot Springs Arkansas. The Viking Fair is presented by the Hot Springs Renaissance Faire. The fun all begins as they turn back the clock to the year 966 AD on Saturday, March 4 at 10 AM at Cedar Glades Park. You might want to binge on the Netflix show Vikings and Vikings Valhalla to get prepared for all the fun.

What is going on at the Vikings Festival on Saturday?

At noon they will hold their 3rd Annual Great Gathering of Gingers. That's where a King and Queen will be crowned. You can't have a Viking Festival without a Viking Beard Contest and a Berserker Scream contest.

The Fun Continues on Sunday

Sunday, March 5 the fun continues with the Viking and Shieldmaiden contest. Be sure to check out the Valhalla Games for all ages. There will also be food and classes to learn more about the Viking's customs and past.
