Bumblebee Nest Discovered Under Pool Filter [VIDEO]

This is what nightmares are made of! While getting my pool ready to open last week we encountered a bumblebee nest that seemed to be never ending.

The nest was made of straw and didn't seem like a big deal until the bees kept coming out. I hired a professional pool person to get my pool opened this year and when she moved the old filter out of the way, bumblebees started buzzing everywhere. At first my pool gal thought about just moving the nest with a rake. I'm so glad we didn't so that! As I started spraying the nest the bees kept crawling out. It was very scary. We killed about 40 bees. They kept coming back even the next day. One by one we got them all.

I was stung by a bumblebee last year and it was worse than a red wasp sting. It felt like I was being burned and electrocuted at the same time and it hurt for weeks. So I knew that I didn't want to give these suckers a chance to attack.
