The Farmers Almanac just recently came out with their 2021-2022 extended winter forecast. Last winter's big snowstorms were unlike anything we've had in a very long time.

Remember Last Winter?

Not only did we have a lot of snow, but those temperatures were also unbelievably low for our area. Remember 8 degrees how about 0 degrees? It was crazy and those temperatures did so much damage to water pipes and plants. Not to mention the number of people in Texas that lost power to heat their homes. Oh, I really don't want to go through that again.

Will it be Like Last Winter?

But wait, there is more. Here's is the rest of what they are calling for...

What about Texas?

And for our friends in the Southern Great Plains, including Texas and Oklahoma, we are sorry to report that late January may bring some potentially frigid and flaky weather like you experienced last winter. Hopefully, it won’t be as robust, but it doesn’t hurt to be prepared.

Really we might see a repeat of those downright crazy cold temperatures? I like that they are saying it doesn't hurt to be prepared. So true and yes I will be!
