The City of Texarkana, Texas Animal Control Services is pleased to host "Bark at the Park" this Saturday. 

Bark at the Park is a free community-wide registration and rabies vaccination clinic for dogs and cats. The event will be held at the pavilion near the Kylee Sullivan Dog Park at Spring Lake Park from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Free three-year rabies vaccinations will be offered for dogs and cats. Free city registration will be offered for dogs and cats residing inside city limits. In lieu of payment, donations will be accepted to assist in funding future Animal Control Services activities.

Micro-chipping and other vaccinations will be available for a fee. Cats should be in a carrier. Attendees will also have the chance to win door prizes while learning more about the pet services available in Texarkana from local vendors.

Pet Costume contest rules: Like, Share (make public), Follow Our Page and comment a picture of your pet in the comments section for a chance to win a prize! All pictures must be submitted by October 25th by 5:00 pm. The winner will be announced on October 26, 2019 at Bark at the Park and will be posted on our Facebook Page. Winner must collect prize by Monday, October 28th or they will forfeit the prize. The prize will then go to the 2nd Runner Up.
