This is not a drill! Out of nowhere, Andre 3000 blesses the masses with two brand new tracks on Sunday (May 13). The two songs are titled “Me&My (To Bury Your Parents)” and “Look Ma No Hands.”

Dre is clearly on a different vibe with these two cuts, which both have a jazzy feel and are sans any rapping. “Me&My (To Bury Your Parents)” is like a trip back in time for the Atlanta rap legend and an ode to his late parents.

"Me and my mother drivin' to the grocery store/Me ridin' shotgun with my window rolled down," he croons in drawn-out tones over the cotton-soft bass clarinet instrumental played by himself, with Kevin Kendrick on the piano. "She smokes cigarettes and gets what she gets by/Hustlin' harder rollers and a nightgown/Me and my father driving to the football game/Me ridin' shotgun my window rolled down/He sipped cognac and kept us all laughin'/I was much happier when he was around/When he was around, around."

The rest of the song plays out with a piano interlude, with 3 Stacks chiming in with a refrain toward the end.

"Look Ma No Hands" is a full-on instrumental, but more so in the vibe of Miles Davis than Mannie Fresh. Cruising in at over 17 minutes, the cut features a meandering bass clarinet solo played by 3K over softly-tickled piano chords from James Blake.

Fans had been wondering if we would ever get new solo material from the OutKast member. Guest appearances have been few and far between, and last year he noted he'd be fine with OutKast never putting out another LP. He also said he no longer likes going to the studio and would prefer producing.

We'll take anything we can get. Hopefully, this is the first of more to come. Dre also finally joined Instagram and shared insight into the tracks on his IG page.
