5 Things You Need to Know For ‘The Battle on The Border’

'The Battle on The Border' is a brand new event that will be in Texarkana on October 7th and here are some things you need to know before this great fundraiser.

1.The United Way of Texarkana has created this great event to raise money for the Imagination Library a program to bring books to kids of all ages.

2. The Imagination library is a program will bring books to kids from new born up to 5 in Bowie, Miller, Cass, Lafayette and Little River County.

3. The 'Battle on the Border' will have plenty for the whole family to enjoy including some great games to play, vendor booths, a sanctioned chili cook off and great adult beverages and a VIP lounge with tvs to be able to keep up wit your favorite college football team during the event.

5. It all takes place at Spring Lake Park October 7th from 12 til 8pm.
