They say everything in Texas is bigger! It's official, that the Guinness World Record has named a two-year-old Great Dane, Zeus as the tallest living dog in the world.

The world's top dog was measured at 3 ft. 5.18 inches and weighs 200 pounds, according to owner Brittany Davis from Bedford, Texas near the city of Fort Worth.

People are shocked at the size of the Great Dane and get some interesting looks while walking in the neighborhood especially when he stands on his hind legs at 7 feet tall.

He's been described by many as a horse because of its stature and he eats like a horse, with twelve cups of dry dog food every day including some of his favorite treats fried eggs, carrots, and ice cubes, according to the Washington Post.

His water bowl is the kitchen sink.

By the way, Zeus was measured by a stick called a wicket that is used to measure horses.

However, Zeus is not the only pet in the household, he shares a life with two Australian Shepards and one cat. Davis describes Zeus as a giant, gentle dog that likes to sit on people's laps. It's probably safe to assume he's the big dog of the house!

It's ironic that the world's tallest dog ever was also a Great Dane named Zeus, from Ostego, Michigan. He passed away at the age of five in 2014. It was said he could reach heights of seven feet while standing on his hind feet.

If he were my dog, I think I may have named him Titan. Hey, I just wonder if he likes watching Scooby-Doo?
